vilket väder (what kind of weather?)

This spring has had some unusual weather in southwest Ohio. April was a quarter inch (6.35 mm) shy of the all time record rain fall. We had a total over over 13" (33+ cm) of rain. May started off with heat, nearly 90f (31c), but because of all the rainfall the humidity was really high and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the humidity reminded us that our home air conditioning is broken and needs to be repaired or replaced. We have gotten estimates ranging from $3K - $5k (18,852 - 31,420 sek). We have had to approach any large capital improvement project cautiously, with John in school.

This week the weather has been cloudy, 50f (10c). We can put off the air conditioning a little longer but it will not be long before we are sweating again. Ohio is officially a transition zone between the southern and northern US; sometimes it feels warm like the south or cold like the north, depending on the jet stream.
