It was late in the summer, but Jay invited us to go canoeing with their family. He was familiar with a company that would let us park and they'd take us and our canoes up river for like $10. Sweet!

We don't have many pictures - mainly because we were probably protecting cameras from getting wet - but Mon did snap a couple with her camera while we stopped at this swimming hole along the river. After being in the water for a while, we started making stacked stone sculptures. Maybe it was weird, but the day was a lot of fun. We even got to bring our canoe home, permanently.
