Finally, a real sledding hill. Jay & Michelle needed a sitter the other day and we thought what a great opportunity to sled. So we headed up to French Park.
It was a great day for it too. Weather was perfect when the sun was out. Snow was soft & firm under the feet. Packed when you walked or rode on it.
Hill was long and gradual. Before we left for Sweden our old next door neighbors got married on the lawn outside the house at the top of the hill. Very elegant. Mon & I had dinner on the terrace that night.
This is a homemade hot chocolate 'cheers'. Still piping hot from the thermos.
Who is that mysterious snow bunny?
Oh, and that guy.
Hot chocolate smiles say it all.
Though we were wiped out at the end, this was a really fun day.
